Welcome to Yorkshire Wedding Tails! By purchasing from our shop, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing your order.

About Us

Yorkshire Wedding Tails creates handmade pet accessories designed with love and care in Yorkshire, UK. Each piece is individually crafted to add a touch of style and charm for your furry friend.

Orders & Payments

  • All orders are processed securely through Stripe (for website purchases)
  • Custom and personalised orders are welcome, but please ensure all details (e.g. name spelling, measurements) are correct before checkout.
  • Please note occasionally we may have to change the colour of the buttons slightly as these can be difficult to source but we endeavour to make sure they match the fabrics used.
  • Once an order is placed, we begin work promptly — changes or cancellations may not be possible once production has started.

Custom & Personalised Orders

Personalised and custom-made items are created to your specifications. Because of their bespoke nature, these items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

Shipping & Delivery

  • We currently ship within the UK and Europe
  • Orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48, with an estimated delivery time of 2–3 working days after dispatch.
  • You’ll receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped.
  • Yorkshire Wedding Tails is not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or other postal services.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your purchase! If you’re not completely satisfied, you may return your item within 14 days of receiving it, as long as it’s unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when received. Return postage to be paid for by the customer.

Non-returnable items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • Used or worn products

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you and process your refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

If you’d like to exchange an item (for a different size or design), please contact us before returning your item to confirm availability.

Faulty or damaged items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos. We’ll be happy to offer a replacement or refund.

Return shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Product Care & Safety

  • Our accessories are handmade and designed for occasional wear.
  • Please supervise pets while wearing accessories — we are not responsible for wear, tear, or damage caused by pets.
  • Check collars, leads, and attachments regularly for signs of wear to ensure safety.

Intellectual Property

All product designs, descriptions, and photographs are the property of Yorkshire Wedding Tails and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

Liability

Yorkshire Wedding Tails shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from misuse of our products. Our tuxedos are for decorative purposes and not intended as safety restraints, we suggest if your pooch is a 'puller' or very strong that you use a collar to attach the lead to as extra security.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
